Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Chanie received most of her education in Crown Heights, followed by a year of study abroad in Israel. She then completed a teacher training course in early childhood education back in the States. Chanie earned her BA in Liberal Arts and taught preschool for ten years, first at her alma mater and then at Gan Yiladim Preschool in Grand Rapids. She has been actively involved in Chabad educational programs and camps worldwide, including locations such as Bangkok, Portland, El Paso, Detroit, Glendale, Palmetto Bay, San Antonio, Banff, and Toronto. Her passion for sharing the joy of our Jewish heritage and love of teaching children is evident in her dedication and work.
